The unique properties of Glass Microfiber products allow nonwovens producers to produce high performance products such as AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery separator for VRLA acid lead batteries, air filtration paper, and cryogenic insulation paper. The Glass Microfibers have average fiber diameters from 0.25μm – 5.0μm and the typical applications include:

• Battery separators
• Glass filtration papers
• Respirators and personal safety devices
• Cryogenic insulation papers

The Glass Microfiber provides a solution for cryogenic insulation application where the low thermal conductivity under low temperature. The cryogenic insulation paper made from Glass Microfiber is available from 0.15 mm to 6 mm thickness.The nominal Fiber Diameter is 2.5 µm +/- 0.5 µm and the length of paper rolls is up to 50 meters.
