AES Fiber
Minye Refractory Fiber provides high temperature Insulating fiber products for thermal management and fire protection applications. The High temp insulating fiber products include: |
• Refractory Ceramic Fiber (RCF) fibers made from kaolin, or aluminum silicate mixture with temperature capabilities up to 1425°C (2600°F). • Polycrystalline fiber (PCW) needled blankets with a temperature rating up to 1600°C (2912°F) |
• AES (low bio-persistent fiber or Alkaline Earth Silicate) fibers with classification temperatures of 1300°C (2372°F) and 1450°C (2600°F). To address the health issue and industrial challenge, Minye has its own low biopersistent products to fulfill the customer needs. Minye HB® S (low bio-persistent or AES) insulating blankets meet the requirements specified under NOTA Q of European Directive 67/548. |
The biopersistence of Minye HB Soluble blankets was investigated after intratracheal instillation within the following study: Fraunhofer ITEM study no: 02G50657. The Fraunhofer certificate of Minye HB soluble fiber blanket was issued on December 15, 2016. The HB insulation product with Fraunhofer certification of low biopersistence is exempt from the classification and labeling regulation in Europe. |
The HB® S Blanket is manufactured by fiber spinning and needle technology to create a high-performance insulation blanket with excellent thermal and mechanical properties. With our high-performance insulation products and technical group, we will work with you to develop insulation solutions for the following industries and applications: | |
* Module for Furnace in Steel, Glass, Ceramic, Petrochemical, and Aluminum * Hot face insulation in Furnace directly * Ladle lining solutions for metals production * Heat shields in automobile * Process piping insulation * Electric thermal storage heaters * Appliance |
