MINYE FIBER

Minye Refractory Fiber provides an extensive range of high temperature insulating Bulk fiber for use directly as insulation materials or for the raw materials in the manufacturing of board, paper, and shapes as well as textile or coating. We have RCF, AES or PCW Bulk fiber products that are typically found in the market. 

• Refractory Ceramic Fiber (RCF), or Aluminum Silicate Wool (in China market name) bulks made from kaolin, or aluminum silicate mixture with temperature capabilities up to 1425°C (2600°F). Refractory Ceramic Fiber (RCF) describes a family of synthetic vitreous fibers that is typically used for refractory insulation and fire protection. RCF products are "Amorphous man-made fibers produced from melting, blowing or spinning of calcined kaolin clay (products from Minye with this chemistry are Normal or Standard 1260 grade of RCF products）or a combination of alumina (Al2O3) and silica (SiO2). RCF products made from the combination of alumina (Al2O3) and silica (SiO2) are called High Purity (or HP) RCF products. Oxides such as zirconia may also be added and with that chemistry change, the product will be call AZS (Alumina Zirconia Silicate) RCF. Typically RCFs are high purity alumino-silicates containing 48-54% silica and 48-54% alumina. The production of AZS includes zirconia RCFs containing 15-17% zirconia and 35-36% alumina with a silica content similar to that in the high purity fibers. Minye enjoys the high reputation in China for its RCF blankets and has been selling to over 2600 customer worldwide.

• AES (low bio-persistent fiber or Alkaline Earth Silicate) bulks with classification temperatures of 1300°C (2372°F). To address the health issue and industrial challenge, Minye has its own Bio soluble products to fulfill the customer needs. Minye HB products meet the requirements specified under NOTA Q of European Directive 67/548. The biopersistence of Minye HB Soluble bulks was investigated after intratracheal instillation within the following study: Fraunhofer ITEM study no: 02G50657. The Fraunhofer certificate of Minye HB soluble fiber blanket was issued on December 15, 2016. The HB product with Fraunhofer certification of soluble is exempt from the classification and labeling regulation in Europe.

• Polycrystalline fiber (PCW) bulk with a temperature rating up to 1600°C (2912°F)
